In the listing presentation process it always comes up- why should I hire you. So, let’s cut to the chase and let me tell you why hiring a realtor is a better choice than doing the legwork yourself.
Here are 6 reasons why you need to consider hiring a professional real estate agent to sell your home.

  1. Knowledge
What you don’t know can absolutely hurt you. At any given time you can hear someone say how little time they have.  Hiring a professional helps you use your time the way you really want to.  You can find information online, but if you don’t have the insight to interpret the information is it really benefiting you?
  1. Time
Everyone’s time is valuable. Who has time to play the role of real estate agent while playing all the other roles in your life? It’s not just about putting your house on the market, there are showings, showing appointments, getting and managing feedback.
  1. Presentation
  2. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and the same thing goes for putting a property up for sale. There are important things to high light on the listing when putting a property up for sale. Without an agent, this market insight isn’t easy to come by.
  1. Marketing
Agents have numerous ways of finding out the demographics in their neighbourhood, reaching buyers and predictive analytics that allow for them to strategically promote your home. And did we mention their social media community?
  1. Negotiation Management
You receive an offer, and now what? How do you respond? What is important to include in the purchase agreement? What terms and conditions could put you at a disadvantage?  How do you negotiate to keep the buyer in the game versus walking away? In a ‘hot’ market how do you manage multiple offers?
  1. Transaction Management

Once the deal is secure what do you do next? Who should you contact? There are multiple steps after the sold sign goes on the lawn. Start planning your new home, and I’ll take care of the hard stuff.

When making the biggest transaction of your life you don't want to rely on a google search to give you the information you need.
